New Myspace Group ^.^
I created a new myspace group called "Temple of Brigid and An Cailleach"
I thought you might all be interested in this group so I thought I would mention it here. Feel free to check it out, and or comment about it here. Please note I have not specified whether the group supports male flamekeepers as of yet, as I want to keep the group open to the largest amount of people. However if you think I should specify this, I will make a note that the group does not support male flamekeeping.
P.S. I also created a facebook group for Brigid and An Cailleach with the same name at the following link
I hope this wasn't to presumptuous of me? Current Mood: accomplished
A friend of mine and myself are starting a Celtic Reconstructionist Organization entitled "An Chuallacht Ghaol Naofa (CGN)" or "Gaol Naofa" for short. We currently are not accepting official membership. However there is a public forum which we are excepting members on. We would greatly appreciate anyone interested in Celtic Reconstructionism check out the forum. Thanks
First off, I was wondering if there is any place for prayer beads in the worship of Brighid? Second off, if there is I was wondering if anyone had good chants or liturgies that could be used with a small prayer bead bracelet? I have something that would work for Lugh, my other Patron deity, but not anything that would work for An Cailliach or Brighid, my Matron deities. So if someone could help me out with this I would greatly appreciate it. Current Mood: busy
The FAQ is up! The Website is Live!

Please let us know if you find any mistakes or navigation errors.
Paganachd.com itself still needs work. There will eventually be more articles, resources, and other goodies. But that can wait. Now I need a vacation.
Thank you very much to everyone who helped with the project.

Some of us realized that having two connected communities for Brighid was not going to work, these things must be in three after all! There was concern that out_hedge
was making those who did not connect with the Outsider path feel alienated and that it was probably too much to ask one community to serve to discuss both other ways to worship Brighid and the guardian and other warrior paths. It also complicated things in the case where we may wish to discuss particular thing in locked posts, which might not be of interest or suitable to those of these divergent interests. So this community was created to serve those of all genders, or none, who serve Brighid in various ways.
This community is, however, to support the belief that tending the eternal flame was forbidden
to men and that this tradition is to be respected. Therefore we ask that no one who does not fully believe this to not join and membership to those we realize belong to any group or order which allows male flame-tenders will be rejected.
Those we do not know well may be asked to join out_hedge
first, in order for us to get to know them and they us.
Posts discussing liturgy and the like should be kept locked. At this time, however, other posts may be kept public. Current Mood: hopeful
